Après 8 ans de cours de piano classique et de solfège, et un an de trompette, j'ai appris seul l'harmonica et les percussions. j'ai ensuite participé a plusieurs jams. C'est comme ça que j'ai rencontré N'tiffafa, un groupe africain dans lequel j'ai joué le jembe avant de rejoindre le groupe Fantomas Pop. Après ces expériences, j'ai travaillé pendant 5 ans comme technicien son/lumière, ce qui m'a permis de rester actif dans le monde de la musique et j'ai rencontré HH et ensuite Carl qui m'ont invité à rejoindre le live band de Velvet Avenue. Au cas où vous vous demanderiez quels sont mes goûts musicaux, les voici: Chantal Goya, Lang Jojo, Stellla, Dorothée, Rika Zaraï, Julio Iglesias... et beaucoup d'autres comme Queen, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jacques Brel... ps: oubliez les 6 premiers! Je plaisantais !!

After 8 years of classical piano tuition and music reading, and a year playing the trumpet, I have taught myself the harmonica and the percussions and played in various jam sessions. That's how I met N'tiffafa, an African band in which I played the jembe, following which I played in another band called Fantomas Pop. After that, I worked as a sound/lighting technician during 5 years, which allowed me to remain active in the musical world and meet HH and then Carl who asked me to join Velvet Avenue's live band. Just in case you were wondering what my musical tastes are: Chantal Goya, Lang Jojo, Stellla, Dorothée, Rika Zaraï, Julio Iglesias… and many others like Queen, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jacques Brel… ps: forget about the first 6 acts! I was kidding !!

Que dire d'Ivan, sinon que sa musicalité et sa versatilité ont donné une âme aux concerts de Velvet Avenue? Et bien il y a beaucoup de choses à dire à propos de ce playboy dont le jeu de hanches sur une salsa apporte des émotions fortes à la gente féminine de tout âge... et de tout genre! Mais nous tairons ces choses pour le bien commun. Ivan joue les claviers pour Velvet Avenue (synthé et piano). C'est avec sa patte qu'il a personnalisé 'High on Love', joué sur l'album par Jean-François Maljean... et ce avec beaucoup de succès et de personnalité. Ivan joue également l'harmonica et les percussions pour Velvet Avenue. C'est un plaisir de travailler avec lui.

What can we possibly say about Ivan other than his sens of music and versatility has given a soul to the concerts of Velvet Avenue? Well, there's a lot to say about this playboy whose hip moves on a salsa drive ladies of all ages and kinds mad. But we shall not divulgate these things in the name of common wellness. Ivan plays keyboards for Velvet Avenue (synth and piano). He has personalised 'High on Love' perfomed on the album by Jean-François Maljean in a unique successful way. Ivan also plays blues harp and percs for Velvet Avenue. It's a real pleasure to work with him.
